These are the rare "brown box" celebrity dolls from the 1960s made in Japan. As far as i know there were only seven characters made. The are 11 1/2" tall and have plastic cloths. The dolls have cheap hair that tends to deterate and fall out easy, I have seen some that has done this before. These dolls are a "Tammy clone" with an all plastic body and a vinyl head.

How did manager to get them all? I can't even find a single one and I have been wanting them for like 10 years or as soon as I found out about them. They are the most awesome looking clone ever! I just noticed Mary Ann's top is very small however. It was never that small on the show. I guess they were saving fabric. LOL
ReplyDeleteI have been collecting and dealing in dolls and toys since the 80s, There has been a lot of toys that has been in and out of my through the years, unfortunately I cant remember exactly where I got these, I use to buy out collections or just a single toy or doll, So i may have bought them with a collection.
